Ghanaian champions FC Samartex are set to name enterprising tactician Christopher Ennin as their new head coach ahead of the second phase of the 2024/25 season.
This is on the back of the resignation of former head coach Nurudeen Amadu who has been with them for the past three seasons in the topflight and guided them to their first ever Ghana Premier League title last season.
The Timber Giants since his resignation have been on the lookout for a successor and after numerous links, they have finally settled down on former Berekum Chelsea coach Christopher Ennin.
Kickgh.com can authoritatively report that, the Ghanaian champions have already agreed everything with Ennin - who has stepped down from his role at Premier League of Eswatini side Moneni Pirates and has signed a two-year deal pending official announcement.
FC Samartex haven't been really impressive leaving their title defense in jeopardy at the moment but are still working tirelessly to rediscover their form.
Christopher Ennin after an impressive job at Berekum Chelsea was strongly linked with a move to giants Hearts of Oak early this year but the deal couldn't yield any fruition.
