Real Tamale United (RTU) have confirmed the departure of five of their players to Germany for a trial camp, a move facilitated by the club’s Chief Executive Officer, Zakaria Safianu.

The players – Wisdom Jonas Manyina, Abdul Shakur Lukman, Yaya Latif, Omani Osbourne, and Samuel Lamptey – left Ghana on Monday morning for Turkey, where they will join a German club currently holding its pre-season training camp.

The opportunity forms part of RTU’s efforts to expose their players to international platforms and create pathways for potential European moves.

Speaking on the development, CEO Zakaria Safianu described it as a positive step for both the players and the club.

“This is a great opportunity for these young men to showcase their talent on a bigger stage. We believe it will open doors not just for them but also for other RTU players in the future,” he said.

The German club’s identity remains undisclosed for now, but the trials are expected to last throughout the pre-season period. A successful outing could see the players securing professional contracts in Europe.

This latest development further highlights RTU’s commitment to developing young talent and positioning them for success beyond the Ghana Premier League.
