Former Ghana U17 standout Ibrahim Sulley has joined Asante Kotoko on a free transfer and has already started training with the Porcupine Warriors ahead of the 2025/26 season, according to GhanaSportsPage.com.
While the club is yet to make an official announcement regarding his signing, Sulley has been spotted in full training with the squad as part of their preseason preparations. However, he was not included in the official roster for Kotoko’s preseason tour of Cape Coast.
The former Great Olympics forward returns to the Ghana Premier League after a two-year stint abroad, following his departure from Olympics in 2023. His arrival is expected to bolster Kotoko’s attacking options as the club seeks to mount a serious challenge in both domestic and continental competitions this season.
Kotoko began the second phase of their preseason training in Cape Coast on Sunday, August 10, as head coach and technical staff intensify preparations for what promises to be a demanding 2025/26 campaign.
