Former Hearts of Oak striker Abednego Tetteh has signed with Heart of Lions.

Tetteh, who recently concluded a two-year stint with Gold Stars, has penned a two-year contract with the Kpando-based club, with an official announcement expected soon.

During his time with Gold Stars, Tetteh made a significant impact, winning the Golden Boot after scoring 16 goals in 19 games. However, his second season with the Miners saw limited opportunities, as he managed only 9 appearances and scored just once under Coach Frimpong Manso.

Before his tenure at Gold Stars, Tetteh had brief spells with the Faroe Island side Hoyvik and King Faisal. He first rose to prominence in 2016 with Bechem United, where he scored 13 goals and provided 5 assists in 23 league matches, helping the team win the FA Cup.

His time with Hearts of Oak was less successful, with his contract being mutually terminated after 15 months during which he made only 5 appearances for the Phobians.

Tetteh recently featured in Heart of Lions' narrow 7-8 defeat to Hearts of Oak in the Gbese Mantse Homowo Charity Cup at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Throughout his career, the well-traveled forward has also played for clubs in India, Sudan, and Ethiopia. As he joins Heart of Lions, Tetteh will be looking to reinvigorate his career and make a strong impact in the upcoming season.
