Legon Cities has successfully finalized the signing of French forward Stephane Ernest Bombelenga during the ongoing transfer window.

Initially, Bombelenga had been recommended to the Hearts of Oak board by their newly appointed technical director, Rene Hiddink, who had a strong admiration for the player. However, the deal fell through as the Hearts of Oak technical team did not deem him a suitable fit.

In light of the unsuccessful negotiations with Hearts of Oak, Legon Cities, in their quest to bolster their attacking options for the upcoming season, have secured Bombelenga's services on a two-year contract after he successfully completed a medical examination.

The 25-year-old forward most recently played for the UK-based club Eastbourne Borough in the National League South, which represents the sixth tier of English football. Prior to his time at Eastbourne Borough, Bombelenga has featured for various English clubs, including Gosport Borough FC, East Grinstead Athletic, Metropolitan FC, Welling United, and Ipswich Town.

Furthermore, Bombelenga had a brief stint at The Sportis Social FC Łochowo in Poland as part of his football journey.
