Asante Kotoko's 0-0 draw with King Faisal on Wednesday shows they are still hunting down Premier League leaders Aduana, says interim gaffer Abdul Gazale.

Abdul Gazale believes Kotoko are still in contention with Aduana for the Premier League title after posting a goalless draw in a tight match against eleventh-placed King Faisal on Wednesday.

The former Porcupine Warriors youth team coach accepted that Kum-Apem needed Aduana to drop points but insisted his side remain in the hunt and to retain the league title.

"Oh yes. Why not? Because we still have about nine matches to go," Gazale told StarTimes after the game.

"With these nine matches, there are a lot of points over there and we also know that those who are on top are also going to drop points while we are also coming up," he added.

Porcupine Warriors - who next face Berekum Chelsea in a crucial encounter - will hope to bounce back from the disappointment they endured in the hands of regional rivals King Faisal.
