The third round of the Ghana Premier League delivered its fair share of drama, with surprises and expected results shaping the early standings.


Eleven Wonders slipped to their second successive defeat, losing to Hearts of Oak, while Heart of Lions made home advantage count with victory over Bechem United. At the Nana Agyemang Badu Park, Aduana FC produced a controlled display to see off newly-promoted Swedru All Blacks.


Former Black Stars goalkeeper Fatau Dauda has now revealed his Team of the Week for Matchweek 3, rewarding players whose swashbuckling performances caught the eye across the league.


Karela United and Samartex provide a strong presence in the XI, with Faisal Gariba, Zaidan Mohammed, Zakari Musah and Ebenezer Acquah among those recognised. Hearts of Oak’s Enock Asubonteng, Aduana’s Emmanuel Marfo and Young Apostles duo Richmond Opoku and Abdul Ganiyu Muftaw also make the cut.
