Hearts of Oak head coach Didi Dramani has urged his players to maintain confidence in the team’s direction after a 1-0 victory over Eleven Wonders at the Accra Sports Stadium on Friday.

Enock Asubonteng’s 17th-minute strike proved decisive as the Phobians secured back-to-back wins, moving up to third in the Ghana Premier League table with seven points from three games. They sit two points behind early leaders Heart of Lions.

Hearts dominated possession and dictated play but failed to add to their early breakthrough, registering just three shots on target.

Eleven Wonders, still winless after three outings, applied late pressure but could not find an equaliser, leaving them 16th in the table with a single point.

Speaking after the match, Dramani stressed the need for consistency.

“We need to believe in what we are doing, and that’s the consistency we try to invite in our players — that we try to be strong also, that we can play games, tight games, where we can score one and then that would be it, and then we can protect it. Sometimes it’s difficult.”

Hearts next travel to Bechem United in matchweek four on Friday, while Eleven Wonders will host Young Apostles the following day as they search for their first victory of the season.
