A great tactical performance fired Asante Kotoko to a vital 3-1 win over Bofoakwa Tano, which was their fourth consecutive H2H victory in Sunday afternoon's clash at the Baba Yara Stadium.

The home team made their early pressure tell when they went ahead in the 1st minute. Kalo Ouatarra bustled home superbly, as he made no mistake from close range.

Midfielder Baba Yaya doubled Kum-Apem’s lead in the 16th minute as he made no mistake to bury the ball in the net, before in-form Peter Amidu Acquah scored the third goal (33rd minute).

Alhassan Ali made a late surge to pull a goal behind,  as he didn’t struggle to carve out a clear-cut opportunity which sailed into the target.

Having secured sixth spot with 49 points, Kotoko hopes to do well next season. As for the ‘Esuo Eyiri Pe Bre’ they’ve been relegated as they finished the campaign in 17th place with 33 points to their name.
