Legon Cities and Bibiani Goldstars ended their 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season with a draw on the final day.

 

The Royals were aiming for a victorious finish to the campaign, but Goldstars proved resilient, resulting in both teams sharing the points in a highly anticipated match.

 

Fredrick Akatuk put Legon Cities ahead just 15 minutes into the game, giving the home team the lead going into halftime.

 

However, Bibiani Goldstars mounted a comeback after the break, with Oleva Mohammed equalizing in the 78th minute.

 

Legon Cities narrowly avoided relegation, finishing 15th with 45 points, just one place above the drop zone.

 

Bibiani Goldstars secured the 11th spot in the league standings, ending the season with 47 points.

 

Meanwhile, Great Olympics, Bofoakwa Tano, and Real Tamale United have been relegated and will compete in the Division One League next season.
