Ghana Premier League new boys, Nations Football Club has completed the signing of Brazilian international, Joe Dos Santos Silva Santana.

The incorporation of Santos Silva into the roster of the recently promoted Premier League club stems from fruitful negotiations between the player and the club, culminating in a free transfer agreement.

The Brazilian playmaker has committed to a three-year contract with the club based in Abrankese, extending his affiliation until 2026. He marked his debut for the team in their recent match, a 1-0 encounter that saw them fall to Bofoakwa Tano during the ongoing Division One League Super Cup.

Strategically, Nations FC has introduced changes within their technical staff, with a prominent move being the appointment of Kassim Mingle as the new head coach. Mingle, formerly in charge of Bechem United, guided the team to an admirable fourth-place finish in the previous Premier League season.

As they gear up for their maiden season in the top flight, the club has successfully secured the addition of several new signings. Among these recruits are Emmanuel Sarkodie, Kwame Boakye, Emmanuel Agyemang, and Nafiu Sulemana.

The elevation of Nations FC to the Ghana Premier League was sealed through their triumphant performance in the 2022/23 National Division One League Zone 2.
