Hearts of Oak has unveiled its 30-man squad for the upcoming season, aiming to bounce back from a disappointing 12th-place finish in the previous campaign.
The squad announcement follows the recent closure of the Ghanaian transfer window.
Among the squad members are eight forwards, with the notable addition of Cameroonian forward Albert Eonde, who joined the club in August and has made a strong impression during training sessions.
In the goalkeeping department, Richmond Ayi, Richard Attah, and Eric Ofori Antwi have been selected. The full-back positions include new signing Michael Ampadu.
Hearts of Oak has undergone significant changes in preparation for the new season, with the appointment of Dutchman Martin Koopman as head coach and fellow Dutchman Rene Hiddink as the technical director. The club has high hopes that this new coaching team will lead to a more successful campaign.
The Phobians will be eager for a strong start to the season as they face Real Tamale United in their first match on September 15.
