Benjamin Asare has put the Ghana Premier League, and the rest of Africa, on high alert after reiterating his readiness to sign for any team ahead of the new season.

Asare was adjudged best shot-stopper in the Ghanaian top-flight, winning the Golden Glove due to his gallant performance for relegated Great Olympics last season.

Asante Kotoko, Hearts of Oak, Medeama and Bibiani GoldStars are all reportedly keeping tabs on the situation, with Great Olympics set to slap a hefty price tag on the safest-pair-of-hands.

Kotoko are in the box seat, having already made an inquiry, as they search for a stiff competitor to Fredrick Asare.

“I’m ready to join any team because that is the job I do to survive. At the moment, I have not signed for a team. I had a good season, I’m confident I will get a team to join” he said in an audio aired on Wontumi FM.

In the 2023/24 season, Asare kept 16 clean sheets despite the Dade Boys suffering relegation.
