The 2025/26 Ghana Premier League has produced a lot of action and talking points after Matchday 22, with many goals, cards and tough games across the league.
So far this season, 198 matches have been played. Home teams have enjoyed the advantage as they've recorded 111 wins, while away teams have managed just 29 wins. 58 matches have ended in draws.
A total of 375 goals have been scored. Home teams have scored 253 goals, compared to 122 goals by away sides. There have been 184 goals in the first half and 191 in the second half, showing goals are spread evenly during matches.
Referees have shown 711 yellow cards and 27 red cards, as it highlightes the tough nature of the Ghanaian top-flight.
Penalties have also been important. 52 penalties have been awarded, with 42 scored and 10 missed. There have also been 11 own goals.
As the season moves beyond Matchday 22, the title race, top-four battle and relegation fight are all shaping up to be closely contested, with plenty more drama expected in the weeks ahead.
