Sekondi Hasaacas thumped the Hunters 3-1 in week 17 of the Ghana Premier League at the Essipong Stadium this afternoon.
The midweek game was played today due to Ghana's sole CAF Confederation Cup representative ,Medeama SC group game with MO Bejaia which came on at the same venue yesterday.
The visitors, Bechem United, were hammered by three goals to one by the homesters.
All the four goals came in the first department of the game despite the several attacks launched by both sides they couldn't found the back of the net in the second half of the game.
Former Asante Kotoko forward Eric Bekoe opened the score for the Hasmal in the 3rd minute after kickoff before Justice Blay doubled the lead in 16th minute.
Hans Kwofie pulled one back for Bechem United but Samuel Afful also found his name on the score sheet in the 37th minute to sealed the victory for the giants of the west.
Sekondi Hasaacas will travel to Cape coast to face Ebusua Dwarfs whilst Bechem United will welcome their Regional rivals Chelsea in the week 18 of the GPL fixtures.
