Bibiani Gold Stars Chief Executive Officer, Akwasi Adu, says Albert Commey match fixing allegations is baseless and infantry.
The former Executive Council member of the Ghana Football Association, Albert Commey, alleged that the final round of matches involving Bibiani Gold Stars and Ashanti Gold, King Faisal vs Legon Cities, Hearts of Oak against Real Tamale United and Eleven Wonders vs Aduana Stars were all matches of convenience.
One of Eleven Wonders, Real Tamale United and King Faisal was at risk of relegation during the final round of the Ghana Premier League.
Akwasi Adu has debunked Albert Commey's allegations as baseless, infantry and a joke and insists that Bibiani Gold Stars don't play fixed games.
"He [Albert Commey] is a joke," he claimed on Wontumi TV.
"How can he involve Goldstars in such a baseless allegation, we don't fix matches here? He is a good friend and a brother but his comment was infantry. I was never expecting his calibre to make such allegations.
"Yaw Annor played extraordinarily and scored two beautiful goals same as ours and has nothing to do with match-fixing. I don't engage in such funny jokes," he concluded.
