Accra Hearts of Oak have handed winger Kwabena Adu Meider the chance to prove himself as the club continues rebuilding for the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League campaign.

The 26-year-old, who previously featured for Nsoatreman FC and Legon Cities, has been without a club since parting ways with Nsoatreman and is now training with the Phobians in hopes of securing a deal.

Renowned for his blistering pace and direct play, Adu Meider is seen as a potential boost to Hearts’ attacking options as head coach Aboubakar Ouattara reshapes his squad following last season’s struggles. Sources close to the team indicate that the winger is determined to make a strong impression during training sessions and win a place in the team.

Should he earn a contract, Adu Meider will add depth to Hearts’ frontline, providing competition and experience as the club prepares for a demanding season.

The Phobians are currently gearing up for the Homowo Cup showdown against Heart of Lions on Sunday, August 17, before turning their full focus to the Ghana Premier League in September. Adu Meider will be eager to use this trial period as a platform to reignite his career and stake a claim in Hearts’ resurgence.
