Gladson Awako, the midfielder for Hearts of Oak, is confident that his team will win the Ghana Premier League title. Currently, after 22 games into the domestic top-flight campaign, the Phobians are in fourth place with 35 points.
In an interview with Accra-based Angel TV, which was monitored by Footballghana.com, the former TP Mazembe star expressed his optimism about the Phobians' title chances.
According to Awako, "We can win the Ghana Premier League, I think we have played almost all the difficult games, no disrespect to other teams. We only have to focus and concentrate and if we do that, I know we can win the rest of the games and win the league."
Due to injury, Awako has been out of action for some time and missed the Super clash against Kotoko and other important games for the Phobians.
This weekend, Hearts of Oak will travel to the Western part of Ghana to face Karela United in matchday 23 of the Ghana Premier League.
