Despite acknowledging the considerable changes within the team, Hearts of Oak coach Aboubakar Ouattara has voiced optimism in his ability to prepare his overhauled group for the 2024–25 Ghana Premier League season.
Following the team's 2024 Homowo Cup triumph over Heart of Lions on Sunday at the Accra Sports Stadium, Ouattara made these remarks.
The yearly preseason competition was won by the Phobians, giving them a confidence boost before the new season.
The team has made a lot of new additions to restructure the roster, demonstrating their activity in the transfer market.
There has been a significant revamp as only a few players from the poor 14th-place result from the previous season are still in the starting lineup.
“We have time to prepare in just a few days”less than one month. It’s better than this one. I don’t have any pressure about that. I know we can do it. These boys can deliver,” he stated.
