Head coach of Vision FC, Nana Kweku Agyemang has stated that their main ambition in competing in the Ghana Premier League is to win the trophy.

The 'Ewoo' boys will be making their maiden appearance in the Ghanaian top tier, having secured qualification from Division One League Zone 3.

Agyemang, a former assistant coach of Ghana's Black Starlets did not mince words when asked about their lofty aspirations ahead of their debut campaign in the upcoming 2024/25 football season.

"We are in the Ghana Premier League to compete and win the trophy," he told Asempa FM as monitored by Footballghana.com.

"We have Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko competing in the league, but these two clubs have been quiet, but they still have the numbers, and that is the only difference. They have young and experienced players but we are also doing something wonderful which we are convinced about.

"We are a new team, but we have the quality to compete against these teams, and our aim is to compete and win the trophy, and by doing that, we will also become a household name," he added.

Meanwhile, Nana Kweku Agyemang guided the 'Ewoo' to win the Division One League Super League.

The 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season will start on September 6 with Vision FC playing host to Berekum Chelsea in their first match at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex in Tema Newtown.
