Medeama SC's versatile defender, Kofi Asmah, has officially joined Togolese giants ASKO de Kara on a four-month loan deal, as announced by the club.

Asmah was an integral part of the Medeama squad that secured their first-ever Ghana Premier League title two seasons ago. In the recently concluded season, he continued to shine, making 22 appearances in the Ghana Premier League and scoring once.

Additionally, Asmah played a crucial role in Medeama's CAF Champions League campaign, where the team reached the group stage for the first time in their history. 

He featured in seven matches and netted a goal against Guinean giants Horoya AC in the second preliminary round at the Cape Coast Stadium.
