Hearts of Oak are struggling to find the back of the net at home, having drawn their last four Ghana Premier League matches (0–0).

The goalless streak started with a draw against Dreams FC and continued against Bechem United, Berekum Chelsea, and most recently Basaka Holy Stars on Sunday. Four home games. Four draws. No goals.

The team is creating chances but failing to score, which has frustrated fans. After the latest game, the coach admitted the situation was disappointing.

“I think we knew the opponents will sit back, so we expected to control a greater part of the game. But the most important thing was how we utilized the spaces and made the right decisions, especially in key moemnts. Unfortuneately we were not purposeful enough,” he said.

Even with this poor run, the coach asked supporters to stay patient and said the team will work hard to improve.

“There are many things we need to work on, particularly decision making. We give the players the cues and scenarios, but when it comes to the game, they must execute,” he added.
