Vision FC coach Nana Kweku Agyemang has praised his players after that impressive 3-1 win over Berekum Chelsea in Matchday 25 of the Ghana Premier League last Saturday.
The ‘Ewuo Keke’ lads produced a strong second-half display at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Park to extend their unbeaten run in the league to six matches.
After a balanced first half, Vision FC returned from the break with renewed energy and began to dominate proceedings with their attacking approach.
Setsofia Aqetey emerged as the standout performer after scoring two goals, while Ibrahim Larbi also found the back of the net to put the home side firmly in control.
Chelsea managed to grab a late consolation through Vincent Klu Adjei, but it was not enough to stop Vision FC from claiming all three points.
Speaking after the game, Agyemang expressed satisfaction with his team’s performance and praised the players for their discipline and patience.
“My boys did a wonderful job. We knew Chelsea would sit deep and try to catch us on the break, so we had to stay patient and move the ball well to break them down,” he said.
“They were very organised in the first half which made it difficult for us, but I’m proud of my players because they now believe in their abilities and understand what we want to achieve.”
Vision FC currently sit ninth on the league table with 34 points and will next travel to face reigning champions Bibiani GoldStars at Duns Park on March 22.
