Hearts of Oak has announced the postponement of their highly anticipated 6th Annual General Meeting, originally scheduled for March 28th.

The meeting will now take place on Thursday, April 4th, due to circumstances beyond the club's control.

In a statement released by the management of Accra Hearts of Oak Sporting Club PLC, the new date and time for the AGM have been confirmed as Thursday, April 4th, at 9:00 am. The venue remains unchanged at the Civil Service Auditorium-Ministries, Accra.

The decision to postpone the meeting aims to ensure that all stakeholders can participate effectively and address important on and off-field matters concerning the club.

Accra Hearts of Oak apologizes for any inconvenience caused by the rescheduling and reaffirms their commitment to transparency and engagement with their supporters and members."

Meanwhile, the Phobians have constituted a new board of directors with Togbe Afede XIV, the club’s majority shareholder, retaining his position as chairman, ensuring continuity at the helm.

He is joined by several familiar faces, including former CEOs Nyaho Nyaho-Tamakloe, Vincent Sowah-Odotei, and Ivy Heward-Mills.

The revamped board welcomes some fresh faces. Kenneth Ashigbey, first vice-president of the Ghana Table Tennis Association (GTTA), Samuel Wilfred Yaw Inkoom, managing consultant of Asemaku Consult, Akwasi Agyeman, CEO of the Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA), and Agyemang Badu Akosa, a retired head of Department of Pathology at the University of Ghana (UG) Medical School.
