In a strategic move to revamp its leadership structure, Hearts of Oak has reinstated Dr. Nyaho Nyaho Tamakloe on their newly-constructed board.
This decision comes in the wake of the recent dissolution of the board, orchestrated under the guidance of Executive Board Chairman Togbe Afede XIV, signaling a fresh direction for the club.
The club had earlier announced the dissolution of the board, which included the departure of prominent figures like Frank Nelson and Alhaji Akanbi Brimah, in preparation for the upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM) scheduled for Thursday, March 28, 2024.
In accordance with the Companies Act, 2019 (Act 992), which mandates a minimum of two directors for a company, Togbe Afede XIV and Delali Anku-Adiamah were swiftly appointed as new directors a day after the dissolution.
Now, the club has unveiled the complete lineup of the new board of directors.
Led by Executive Board Chairman Togbe Afede XIV, the reconstituted board includes Vincent Sowah Odotei and Dr. Nyaho Nyaho Tamakloe, along with Delali Anku Adiamah, Prof Agyemang Badu Akosa, Akwasi Agyeman, Ing. Dr. Kenneth Ashigbey, Mrs. Ivy Heward-Mills, and Samuel Wilfred Yaw Inkoom.
With this refreshed leadership, Hearts of Oak aims to embark on a new era of success, leveraging the expertise and experience of its members to propel the club forward.
Meanwhile, Dr. Nyaho-Tamakloe brings to the table a wealth of experience as a medical doctor and former CEO of Hearts of Oak, coupled with his tenure as Chairman of the Ghana Football Association from 2004-2005. His deep-rooted understanding of football in Ghana and beyond further strengthens the club's leadership cadre.
