Accra Hearts of Oak say they are working to settle their dispute with former Technical Director René Hiddink in an amicable way, as the club looks to maintain stability off the pitch.

In a statement, the club said it remains committed to handling the matter with respect and professionalism, and has assured supporters and partners that efforts are ongoing to reach a peaceful agreement.

Hearts of Oak confirmed that its legal team has already sent a settlement proposal to Hiddink’s representatives after recent discussions between both sides, including court engagements.

The club said the proposal is aimed at achieving a fair outcome for everyone involved.

The Phobians also said the move reflects their wider goal of protecting the long-term image and unity of the club.

The statement noted recent reports and alleged leaked communications linked to Hiddink, describing them as unfortunate and likely to increase public speculation.

However, the club stressed it would avoid public comments that could affect ongoing negotiations, adding that it has acted in good faith throughout the process.

Hearts of Oak are now waiting for a response from Hiddink and his legal team on the proposed settlement.

The club has also called on fans to remain calm as discussions continue, expressing hope that the issue will be resolved soon.
