Accra Hearts of Oak have secured the services of defensive midfielder Kelvin Appiah, who has joined on a three-year deal from Kumasi Kwadaso-based juvenile side Team Grace Sporting Club.
The agreement was concluded on Thursday, just a day before FIFA’s transfer ban on the Phobians came into effect, ensuring the teenager’s registration was completed in time.
The 17-year-old who has been touted as one of the brightest prospects in his age group, is expected to add energy and bite to Hearts’ midfield as they prepare for the upcoming 2025/2026 Ghana Premier League campaign.
Team Grace SC handlers, who play their home matches at the Ohwimase LA Primary School Pitch, believe the midfielder is a “gifted youngster” primed for an early breakthrough in the top flight.
