Ghanaian football giants Hearts of Oak have announced the relocation of their preseason camp from Pobiman to Asutsuare in the Greater Accra Region.
The move is part of the Phobians' intensified preparations for the upcoming 2024/25 season.
Following their recent victory over Heart of Lions in the 2024 Homowo Cup, Hearts of Oak is determined to build momentum ahead of the new campaign. On Thursday, August 14, 2024, the club confirmed the shift in their preseason activities.
In an official statement, the club noted, "The management of Accra Hearts of Oak Sporting Club PLC is pleased to bring to the notice of our supporters and stakeholders, the latest updates on our pre-season plans and activities as we continue to prepare for the 2024-2025 football season."
The statement further detailed the plan, saying, "On Thursday, the team will shift camp from its Pobiman base to Asutsuare, where they will spend a period of one week. Whilst at Asutsuare, the players will undergo team bonding and other training regimes to prepare them for the challenges ahead."
After completing their week-long training in Asutsuare, Coach Ouattara and the squad are set to travel to Lome, Togo. There, they will engage in a series of friendly matches aimed at fine-tuning their skills and teamwork as they gear up for the new season.
