Hearts of Oak will host the remainder of their 2025/26 Ghana Premier League home games at the University of Ghana Stadium, moving away from their traditional home at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The club has yet to provide an official explanation for the relocation, but the decision comes amid growing fan pressure for a change of venue.

This season, Hearts have struggled to find form at the Accra Sports Stadium, securing just six points from five home matches—making them the second-lowest performers on their own turf. Their only home win was a 1-0 victory over bottom-placed Techiman Eleven Wonders, while a loss to rivals Asante Kotoko and several draws have defined the rest of their campaign at the stadium.

The Phobians are set to debut at their temporary home on Saturday, November 29, against Vision FC.
