Former Asante Kotoko head coach Maxwell Konadu has lauded Mas-Ud Didi Dramani for his impressive start as head coach of Hearts of Oak, insisting the club’s decision to appoint him is already paying dividends.

Konadu, who was previously linked with the Hearts job before Dramani secured the role, believes the Phobians made the right call based on the team’s current performances and results.

Dramani, appointed on a two-year contract, has guided Hearts through a steady and competitive run that has kept them firmly in the mix at the top of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League table.

Speaking to 3Sports, Konadu acknowledged the depth of coaching talent in the country but maintained that the Accra-based club’s choice is proving effective.

“If Hearts of Oak have gone for him, the results are now showing that they made the right decision,” Konadu said.
“There are many top coaches in the country. Once you make the right choice and it works for you, then it is fine. So far, he is doing well, and that is good.”

Hearts of Oak currently occupy third place on the league table with 40 points, sitting five points behind leaders Medeama SC as the title race intensifies.
