Hearts of Oak head coach Didi Dramani has acknowledged the challenge awaiting his side as they prepare to face Bibiani Gold Stars in a Ghana Premier League Week 24 fixture this weekend.

The Phobians travel to Bibiani on Sunday, March 1, for what is expected to be a demanding encounter in the ongoing 2025/26 league season, with both teams eager to strengthen their positions on the table.

Speaking in a pre-match interview with Hearts TV, Dramani admitted that his side is fully aware of the threat posed by Gold Stars, pointing to previous meetings between the two teams this season.

“We are mindful of the strength of our opponent. We have played them twice this season and both games ended in draws. That tells you the next game will be tough,” he said.

The Hearts coach also stressed the need for improvement in front of goal after his team failed to convert several chances in their previous match.

“We are in a marathon league and sometimes you face difficult games. In our last match, we created enough chances to score at least three goals but failed to convert them. That is worrying, so we are working hard to improve,” Dramani explained.

He added that the players have accepted responsibility for their recent shortcomings and are focused on making better decisions in the final third.

“The players accepted full responsibility for the outcome of that game, and they understand the need to improve their decision-making.”

The Week 24 clash between Gold Stars and Hearts of Oak will take place at Dun’s Park on Sunday, with kick-off scheduled for 3:00 pm.
