Hohoe United forward Francis Odoom says he is eager to get on the scoresheet against his former side Dreams FC when the two teams meet in their Ghana Premier League Week 10 encounter on Sunday, November 16.

The 23-year-old striker, who has netted just once in six league appearances this season, has faced growing pressure from supporters to rediscover his scoring touch.

Speaking ahead of the weekend fixture, Odoom admitted that his form so far has not met expectations but remains confident of turning things around - starting against his old club.

“There is no pressure on me,” he told Hohoe United TV. “But what I can say is that I need to work on my finishing. I have the confidence, but I need to improve in front of goal.”

Odoom revealed that the prospect of facing his former teammates gives him added motivation to perform.

“I’m going into the Dreams FC game with the determination to score against my former team,” he said. “But above all, our focus is to work hard, win the game, and bring the three points back to Hohoe.”

The Week 10 fixture between Dreams FC and Hohoe United will be played at the Tuba AstroTurf, with kick-off at 3pm on Sunday.
