Ignatius Baffour-Awuah, owner of Nsoatreman trying to calm angry supporters amid chaos during Nsoatreman vs Kotoko match

Former Ghana Premier League cult hero, Charles Asampong Taylor, has severely criticized the bloodshed attack of Nsoatreman F.C's supporters, which lead to the death of Asante Kotoko fan Yaw Frimpong, popularly known as Pooley.

Going off the deep end on Angel TV, Taylor slammed the Efiri Tete Amanaso fans for preventing the team bus of Kotoko from making its way into the stadium, terming it barbarous that stirred up trouble.

“Sometimes it pains me that Kotoko and Hearts of Oak are not showing their seniority in the league. When the Kotoko bus arrived at the gate, it was not allowed to enter the field. Where did you hear of such behavior? This foolishness has been tolerated for too long. How can you kill someone because of football?" he lamented.

Pooley was stabbed allegedly five times by unidentified attackers while attempting self-protection.

After the incident, the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has enforced a ban on the Nana Koromansah II Park, home grounds of Nsoatreman and have opened an investigation to ensure the perpetrators face full rigors of the law.
