Medeama SC head coach Nebojsa Kapor has vowed to address the team’s recent struggles after a disappointing 1-0 loss to Dreams FC in week ten of the Ghana Premier League.
The reigning champions were undone by a first-half penalty from Joseph Esso, and despite efforts to recover, they couldn’t find an equalizer. Reflecting on the performance, Kapor expressed his frustration and disappointment.
"Very disappointing [performance]. We couldn’t find our energy, and our performance was far from what we expect. I’m unhappy, but it's football. I hope we can find ourselves and come back stronger," Kapor said.
He added, "We will identify our problems and work to improve. Today, we didn’t find our energy, and that didn’t help us."
The loss leaves Medeama winless in their last three matches, with the team slipping to seventh place in the standings with 15 points. This marks their second consecutive defeat, following a 2-0 loss to Hearts of Oak in week nine.
Medeama will look to bounce back when they host league leaders Bibiani Gold Stars at the T&A Stadium on Sunday.
