Former Asante Kotoko midfielder Enoch Morrison has opened up on his disappointing spell with the Porcupine Warriors, revealing that he failed to achieve his goal of winning trophies during his time at the club.

Morrison, who was released by Kotoko along with over 20 other players at the end of the 2023/24 season, expressed his disappointment in an interview with Angel TV.

Despite enjoying his time with the club, he acknowledged that he did not achieve his targets, citing his exit from the club as a major factor.

"I enjoyed my time with the club, but my targets have not been achieved. My ambition was to win trophies with Kotoko, which could not happen due to my exit," Morrison said. "It's all good. I wish the club well because I love the club and whatever has happened is part of football."

Morrison joined Kotoko from King Faisal after the 2021/22 season, and despite experiencing some ups and downs during his stint with the club, he remained grateful for the experience.

Kotoko had a disappointing campaign, finishing sixth in the Ghana Premier League and exiting the MTN FA Cup at an early stage, failing to meet expectations.
