Berekum Chelsea head coach Samuel Boadu says winning the MTN FA Cup is his main objective for the 2025/26 season.

The former Hearts of Oak manager, who guided the Phobians to league and cup success during his tenure, is determined to replicate that winning touch with the Bibires.

“My target this season is to win both the GPL title and the FA Cup. However, at the very least, we want to finish within the top six,” Boadu said.

“I seriously need the FA Cup because Chelsea has won the league before, but the FA Cup is still missing. It’s something I want us to achieve this season.”

Chelsea won the Premier League in 2011 but have not lifted any major domestic trophy since.

They begin their new campaign on Saturday against last season’s FA Cup winners Asante Kotoko, with kick-off scheduled for 15:00 GMT.
