Bofoakwa Tano FC captain, Saaka Dauda has confirmed he's been contacted by giants Asante Kotoko though they hasn't been any agreement between both parties at the moment.

The 24-year-old has been outstanding for the 'Esuo Eyiri Pe Bre' outfit since their days in the Division One League having played a vital role in helping them secure promotion back into the topflight after sixteen years.

The enterprising attacker in the just ended season, continued with his amazing and stellar form having netted 8 goals in 32 matches but wasn't enough to help his side escape relegation. He was adjudged the league's best player of the month for September.

His exploits in the topflight has now caught the good eyes of lots of clubs who are willing to lure his service from now henceforth including giants Asante Kotoko.

Speaking on Akoma FM, Saaka affirmed Kotoko's interest and has also reiterated his willingness to play for the Reds but further stated he isn't a free agent and can only join a new club if he gets the consent of his club.

"Yes, as of now, I have spoken with no one from Hearts but have received calls from Asante Kotoko. It is a big team, so I would really love to play for them.

"Looking at the players, board, and owner, it is clear that this is a great team, and if the deal is completed, I will be grateful to God for providing me with such a big platform.

"However, I still have two years left on my contract, so Kotoko and Bofoakwa will need to come to an agreement before I can join."

Saaka Dauda played his last game of the season last Sunday evening but Bofoakwa Tano FC painfully gave away a goal-lead to lose on penalties to Nsoatreman FC in the MTN FA Cup final.
