Hearts of Oak head coach, Aboubakar Ouattara, remains optimistic that his team will bounce back from their early struggles as they prepare to face Bechem United in a crucial Week 3 fixture of the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season.
Ouattara's side heads into the match on Sunday, September 22, following back-to-back defeats in their opening games. Despite the poor start, the coach believes that Hearts of Oak, as a top club, can turn things around and regain winning form.
In an interview with Hearts TV on YouTube, Ouattara emphasized the importance of unity within the team and encouraged his players to push harder.
“All of us need to win matches to get to a better position and think about the future. When we are divided, it’s not for our benefit. We are trying to give the players the encouragement to believe in their talent and do the work to get a good result on Sunday against Bechem United, who are a strong side,” Ouattara stated.
“We are taking it match by match. I think the team can change and it must change. We need to add more to what we are doing. Hearts of Oak is still Hearts of Oak,” he added.
The high-stakes clash between Hearts of Oak and Bechem United will take place at the Legon Sports Stadium, with a 6 pm kickoff.
