Asante Kotoko winger Adam Inusah has vowed to work on his goal scoring after a superb performance helped the Porcupine Warriors secure a 1-0 victory over Dreams FC in Week 14 at the Baba Yara Stadium.
The 24-year-old was named Man-of-the-Match for his display, which ended Kotoko’s four-match winless streak in the Ghana Premier League.
“It’s not easy to go four matches without a win, so we planned to beat Dreams FC at all costs to appease the fans. We are happy,” Inusah said.
The former West Africa Football Academy and Kotoku Royals forward admitted he has struggled to find the net, having gone nine games without scoring, but promised to change that soon.
“The fans should expect more from us. I want to assure them that I will soon start scoring the goals,” he added.
The victory lifts Asante Kotoko into third place on the league table with 24 points, level with Hearts of Oak, after 14 matches. Kotoko will face bottom-placed Eleven Wonders in Week 15 on Wednesday, December 24, as they look to build on their momentum.
