Medeama head coach Ibrahim Tanko says his side are targeting a dominant performance as they prepare to welcome Bechem United in a Matchweek 11 fixture of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League.

The league leaders host the Hunters on Saturday, 22 November, with Tanko insisting that Medeama’s focus is not only on securing victory but on asserting control from the outset.

The Yellow and Mauve have been in strong form, and Tanko believes their backing in Tarkwa could prove vital. Speaking ahead of the game, the Medeama boss outlined his expectations.

“We are playing at home, so like any other game, we want to control the game, to score goals,” he told Medi TV.

“It’s not going to be easy. Bechem is a very good team, they have a new coach, the players are motivated, but I think playing at home with our supporters behind us, I think we can take the three points.”

Medeama sit at the summit of the table and know another win will solidify their position heading into a congested run of matches. For Bechem United, however, the stakes are equally high, with the visitors needing points to pull away from their current 15th position.

Kick-off at the TnA Stadium is slated for 3:30pm.
