Young Apostles head coach Abu Abdul-Hanan has promised supporters that his team will produce the result they expect when they host Hearts of Oak in a Week 11 Ghana Premier League clash at the Wenchi Stadium on Sunday, 23 November.
The Agya Na Ɔwɔ Tumi Boys sit eighth on the table with 14 points from their opening ten matches, while Hearts occupy sixth place on 17 points.
With both sides seeking consistency, Hanan has urged fans to fill the stands and get behind the team as they look to respond from last weekend’s narrow defeat to Asante Kotoko.
“Just what you have seen, and since it is going to be our home match, I wish you could come and see football there,” he said.
“We are going to play football, and we are going to give our supporters the needed results.”
In their outstanding Week 6 encounter at the Baba Yara Stadium, the Apostles impressed but still slipped to a 2–1 loss against Kotoko.
The Porcupine Warriors struck first six minutes after the restart through Hubert Gyau, only for Richmond Opoku to level three minutes later with a superbly-timed header. But the Agya Na Ɔwɔ Tumi were undone in stoppage time when Kotoko captain Samba O’Neil converted a late penalty, sealing the win and lifting the Kumasi side to fourth place with 19 points.
