Head coach of Medeama SC Ibrahim Tanko says his side will still push for all three points against Hearts of Oak despite already winning the Ghana Premier League title.
The champions travel to the capital on Sunday, May 24, for their final league game of the 2025/26 season at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Speaking ahead of the match, Tanko admitted Hearts of Oak are always a difficult opponent but insisted Medeama will approach the game with confidence and without pressure.
“Even when we played them here, we didn’t find it easy to beat them. It was a tactical game,” he told Medi TV.
“Now we have won the league, so we are going there with no pressure. We are going to play our normal game with the hope that we will get our three points.”
The Matchweek 34 clash is scheduled to kick off at 3pm at the Accra Sports Stadium.
After the encounter, Medeama will return home for their coronation match against Basake Holy Stars on Wednesday, May 27, at the TnA Stadium.
