Nations FC head coach Kasim Ocansey Mingle has boldly declared his readiness to lead the club to their first-ever Ghana Premier League title, stating that the team has matured and is now primed to manifest.

With just two matches left in the 2024/25 season and Nations FC firmly sitting top of the table, Mingle’s confidence has stirred excitement among the club’s passionate fan base.

The Abrakese based side's consistent performances, tactical discipline, and attacking flair have been the hallmark of a side that’s grown rapidly since gaining promotion to the Ghanaian top flight.

“I worked at Bechem, and we came near several times, but they (Bechem United) were not interested in winning the league; however, here (at Nations), they are interested, and they want to go for the ultimate, so I am also prepared,” Mingle told Akoma FM.

The experienced gaffer, who has received widespread praise for transforming Nations FC into a competitive force, emphasized that the players share his hunger and ambition.

“We will not allow complacency to creep into our team, we will focus and compete until the last game to prove that we are actually champions.

“The race is still open, and we are focused on whatever we are doing. We have been psyching the players whenever there is a game, and we are taking the remaining matches one after the other, first on Basake and then on Heart of Lions.”
