Black Stars goalkeepers’ trainer Daniel Gaspar has praised the coaching staff of Accra Hearts of Oak after visiting the team’s training session.
Gaspar, who recently joined the backroom staff of the Ghana national team ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, watched training before Hearts of Oak’ league game against Karela United at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The Phobians, led by head coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani, come into the match after a 1-0 win over Nations FC on Sunday, which moved them closer to second-placed Bibiani Gold Stars.
Speaking after the session, Gaspar said he was impressed by the attitude and approach of the technical team.
“It’s a pleasure and an honour to be here; I’m really impressed. To be a good teacher, you have to be passionate and there is no question about it that your coach is very passionate in terms of his ability to teach you, to give you discipline and to give you structure,” he said.
Gaspar, a close associate of Carlos Queiroz, also spent time with Hearts captain and Black Stars goalkeeper Benjamin Asare during his visit.
🎥 🇬🇭 “My specialty is goalkeeping, and I love the progression, willingness, capacity, commitment, and attitude of the goalkeepers.”
