There were a few offers on the table, but for me it was always Asante Kotoko. The ambition here is clear, and I want to be part of something special especially in the CAF confederation cup.”

Amoah, who joined the Royals from lower-tier side Benab FC last season, has been a pivotal player for the team. During his inaugural season, he recorded four goals and eight assists in 24 appearances.

Joseph Amoah will join the team’s training session at Adako-Jacchie and is expected to mark his debut on Sunday against rivals Hearts of Oak in the President's Cup contest.
