Karela United has accused an unidentified Aduana Stars fan of posing as a security guard and pouring urine on their coach, Shaibu Ibrahim Tanko.
The incident allegedly occurred during their match week 30 fixture at the NAB I Park in Dormaa. Aduana Stars, who are league leaders, were playing against Karela United, who are trying to avoid relegation.
Karela United posted the disturbing allegation on their official Facebook page on Monday.
The incident highlights the reemergence of hooliganism in the Ghana Premier League, despite recent efforts to reduce it.
In a separate incident, Aduana Stars were fined GHc20,000 by the Ghana FA for misconduct during their betPawa Premier League Matchweek 25 against Tamale City FC, where the conduct of some Aduana Stars supporters caused damage to Tamale City FC's bus.
