Aduana FC are on the brink of landing a major coup, with reports indicating they are in advanced negotiations to sign Berekum Chelsea goalkeeper Gregory Obeng Sekyere ahead of next season.

The Dormaa-based giants are looking to bolster their goalkeeping department, and Sekyere has emerged as their top target following his standout performances for Chelsea in the just-ended Ghana Premier League campaign.

Kickgh.com can confirm that talks are progressing smoothly, and barring any last-minute hitches, the transfer could be finalized in the coming days.

The highly-rated 21-year-old goalkeeper, known for his commanding presence, sharp reflexes, and consistency, was a key figure for Berekum Chelsea in the recently concluded Ghana Premier League season, Obeng Sekyere featured in 25 league matches, recorded 10 clean sheets, and conceded 25 goals.

His heroics between the sticks helped Chelsea finish 12th with 44 points, catching the attention of several top-flight sides, but Aduana appear to have won the race.

With Aduana aiming to bounce back stronger next season after a mixed campaign, the signing of Gregory Obeng Sekyere could prove to be a statement of intent from the two-time GPL champions.
