According to reports from Kumasi-based Oyerepa FM, King Faisal has filed a protest against Tamale City over allegations of double registration.
This follows their 4-0 defeat against the Premier League debutants in the matchday 30 game at the Aliu Mahama Stadium on Saturday.
After the game, King Faisal filed a protest regarding midfielder Isaac Mensah's double registration. Mensah was transferred to Tamale City on loan but King Faisal claims he should have reverted to his parent club, Hasaacas.
King Faisal is currently fighting to maintain their Premier League status, sitting at the 17th position on the league log with 33 points after playing 30 games.
With only four games left in the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League season, they will be hoping to return to winning ways in their upcoming match against FC Samartex at the Dr Kwame Kyei Sports Complex in the matchday 31 games this weekend.
