Karela United head coach, Nurudeen Amadu says it was a difficult game and has credited Asante Kotoko for a deserved victory but vows to right all wrongs before their next fixture.

The Porcupine Warriors humbled the ‘Pride and Passion’ by an emphatic 4-2 in a very entertaining match-day 8 fixture at the Baba Yara Stadium on the dusk of Sunday, November 2.

Hubert Gyau netted two spectacular goals coupled another sumptuous one from Seth Kwadwo and Peter Acquah Amidu to seal the victory for the Reds.

Bless Ege converted from 12-yards coupled with another goal from Yaya Rahman were the two consolations for Karela United.

In a post-match interview, Nurudeen Amadu, admitted they had a sloppy start and the Kotoko were ahead and deserved to carry the day.

“We started very slowly and conceded quick goals which are very unpardonable. So congrats to Kotoko, they were the better side in the game.”

Karela United remain in the 7th position on the table with 12 points and will host Dreams FC next at the Aliu Mahama Stadium.
