Asante Kotoko are closing in on the signature of Gold Stars attacking midfield dynamo, Charles Gyamfi Kamara, in what could be one of the club’s biggest transfer moves ahead of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season.
Sources close to the deal confirm that talks between the two clubs are at an advanced stage, with the player keen on making the switch to the Porcupine Warriors.
Kotoko’s technical team has identified midfield reinforcements as a top priority, and Kamara fits the bill as he's young, aggressive, technically sound, and with proven experience in the top flight.
The 24-year-old has been a standout performer for Bibiani Gold Stars, impressing with his ball-winning ability, composure under pressure, and vision going forward.
